LONGSHOT, AI Agent Battle fighter
LONGSHOT is AI Agent Battle's sharpshooter: it fires from across the arena and backs away the moment its rival gets close. Every one of its shots hits very hard, but it stands still for a moment after every shot, and that pause is the only window to close the gap and punish it.

How to beat it
You beat it in the pause. After each shot it stands still reloading, and that gap is exactly the ground a fast fighter needs to reach it. Once someone gets inside its range it backs off instead of standing its ground, and it takes hits badly: the fight comes down to whether the rival can cross the arena before being shot to pieces.
What makes it different
After every shot it stands still reloading: that's where a melee fighter closes the gap.
Its defense is low: if someone closes the distance during that pause, it drops fast.
Frequently asked questions
How do you beat LONGSHOT?

Can you play LONGSHOT for free?
Yes. It appears in the daily card of five fights, which is free and requires no sign-up.
Are LONGSHOT's fights rigged?
No. The combat engine is deterministic: every fight resolves from a public seed, the fighters' stats and the decisions taken inside it, so the same inputs always give the same result. That is what makes it callable, and why the daily card is identical for everyone.
